As-Safir: Hizbullah invites Jumblatt to “Victory Festival”

A source told As-Safir newspaper on Wednesday that a Hizbullah delegation invited Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt to the party's "Victory Festival" during a meeting held with the latter at his residence in Clemenceau on Tuesday.
The festival, which is scheduled to take place on August 14 on the occasion of the third anniversary of the end of the 2006 July War, "would most probably be personally attended by Jumblatt," the source told the paper.
The delegation also voiced appreciation to Jumblatt for his stances that side with the Palestinian cause and Arab relations, the daily said.
