Sayyed Safieddine: Today, the Southern people are more committed to the resistance

Hizbullah held a celebration at the Husseiniya Hall of the southern town of Khiam on the annual anniversary of the Islamic Resistance martyrs, the anniversary of the July 2006 War week, and on the 7-Days ceremony on the passing away of the deceased, the liberated captive and colleague Haydar al-Ghoul.
On the occasion Hizbullah Executive Council Chairman, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine gave a speech in which he said that the United States of America knows nothing but "Israeli" interests, it is also the primary and constant defender of "Israel's" policies in the region, and namely, when pursuing its policy in Lebanon it in fact wants to protect "Israeli" interests.
He added: The moment the "Israeli" enemy senses that Lebanon has become weak, war will take place the following day because the "Israeli" enemy wants to take revenge from Lebanon and it is still mobilized in high alert in all these areas since the July war till today, yet some still come to lecture us about the resistance and its weapons in order to achieve the goal the whole world failed to achieve during the July war.
Sayyed Safieddine said the people of the South today, are the people committed most to the resistance, to its weapons, youth and Mujahidin because they know well that the Shibaa Farms, Kfar Shuba Hills and all areas which are still under occupation can not be liberated, but through resistance.
Sayyed Safieddine asked: "Before some pretend to weep on Resolution 1701, has "Israel" been upholding its commitment when it still occupies al-Ghajar town, while its fighter jets continue to breach Lebanon's sky." "Does the international community enjoy any credibility after it stood by in the July war looking on our children and women being killed and our homes destroyed?"
Again I say: "Should the enemy one day consider assaulting our homeland, people and our land, the resistance that triumphed in July is today much stronger than it was in July 2006, it will stand forever ready to defend the south and all of Lebanon to inflict this Zionist enemy with scandalous defeat.
