During a commemoration in southern Lebanon, Hizbullah Executive Board Chairman Sayyed Hashem Safieddine said that some of those who criticize the resistance and its weapons, have attempts of bringing down the resistance and its morale and making it unbearable burden to people did not realize so far the nature of its goals, aims, plan, and culture. Safieddine said that the experience of the resistance is an experience of saving the country and the nation. He also said Hizbullah is not and will not be surprised from any action those people take and is ready for confrontation.
On the Zionist entity, Hizbullah Executive Board Chairman stated that its intimidations and words are worthless, and that the roadmap has become meaningless as the apartheid wall was set up and cut off the Palestinian occupied territories.
Saffiedine went on to say that the region as well as the entire world face a Zionist enemy that always aims at tyrannizing the region through wars, which is the only route the Zionist enemy has followed aiming at oppressing and dominating over the entire region.
Here he questioned: Could Lebanon have confronted "Israel's" threats without the resistance?? He ensured the necessity of the existence and presence of the resistance in order to face the changes storming through the region in addition to the threats Netanyahu talked about.
Safieddine said: "we do not want to start a war, but we cannot leave our country Lebanon exposed in face of all the repetitive and endless "Israeli" threats and violations.
On the Lebanese internal level, Safieddine said: "we have demonstrated our complete readiness to cooperate in order to form a national unity government that suits all factions so that Lebanon can be strong enough to face any challenges in the region with the "Israeli" challenge topping the list.
Safiedinne considered that a national unity government completely differs from and contradicts with the sense of majority or the sense of one faction ruling the other. Therefore, he sees that all factions should stick to a national unity government where all parties come together all parties need each other to resolve pending economic and social issues, and to confront all regional challenges, particularly the threats posed by "Israel".
