Jumblatt: Sayyed Nasrallah Speech Positive, Constructive

The head of the Democratic Gathering parliamentary bloc MP Walid Jumblatt said that Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's speech was positive and constructive.

Jumblatt told Assafir daily that a new phase has begun after elections, not one based on eliminating one another but one that is founded on unity against the suspicious "Israeli" flattery to the March 14 win in general elections. "It is a new booby trapped messaged similar to the message of Der Spiegel."

Jumblatt refrained from congratulating anyone saying he doesn't feel victory "and I still fear that sectarian strife could move to the streets, this is why it is required that we exert more efforts to preserve a calm atmosphere so as to move from one phase to another."
