Sayyed Fadlallah: Some UN Envoys Execute "Israeli" Plots

Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah said on Sunday that some United Nations' envoys were playing an instigative role in issues related to the Arab-Arab relations and Islamic-Arab relations.

In a statement, Sayyed Fadlallah pointed, in this context, to the provocative interference of UN special envoy Terje Roed-Larsen in the conflict between Hizbullah and the Egyptian regime. His eminence noted that Roed-Larsen's interference caused the deepening of the conflict at a time more than side were working to calm it down.

The Lebanese prominent cleric warned than some of those who assume sensitive posts within the United Nations carry out an ‘Israeli' agenda, accusing them of seeking to achieve the ‘Israeli' plots "especially when they urge Arabs to deal with Iran as an enemy and express openness towards the Zionist entity."

Sayyed Fadlallah called on the UN chief Ban Ki-moon to question the ‘Israeli' enemy over its violation to the sovereignty of the Arab states, especially Syria, Sudan and Lebanon, as well as suing it over the Mossad-linked cells uncovered in Lebanon."
