Supreme Leader: World powers had been persuaded that Iran΄s onward progress could not be hindered

In his Nowruz message, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei on Friday said Iranians should move to save the country's energy resources through the optimization of energy consumption.

Nowruz, which coincides with the first day of spring on the solar calendar, has been a celebration of renewal and change for thousands of years.

The Leader also touched upon the triumphs of the Iranian nation such as the pre-commission of Iran's first nuclear power plant, the launch of Iran's domestically-launched satellite, and managing the aftereffects of a worldwide financial crisis .

As the result of Iran's achievements, Ayatollah Khamenei said, world powers had been persuaded that Iran's onward progress could not be hindered.

In a separate message, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on the Iranian nation to continue the trend of rising achievement.
