State broadcaster “Kan” reported that the “Israeli” entity requested US help against Hezbollah.

Amichai Stein, a political analyst at the channel, warned that delayed political settlement in the north could lead to heightened conflict, with the US administration concerned about potential larger-scale events.

“In recent days, “Israeli” officials have met with their counterparts from the United States for any deterrent action against Hezbollah,” Stein added.

According to him, “At the beginning of the war, Biden warned Lebanon and Iran against joining the war and sent two aircraft carriers to deter Hezbollah from opening an additional front.

Stein said that “Israeli” officials are requesting that the US demonstrates its support for ‘Israel’ in face of Lebanon, seeking to deter Hezbollah from initiating operations.

He further noted that recently, talks increased between Zionist and American officials on Lebanon and that it turned to a key issue in Blinken's visit, shifting focus from Gaza.
