The Former head of the Mossad Intelligence Division, Haim Tomer urged the “Israeli” public to understand that a comprehensive war with Lebanon represents a threat to the Zionist vision of “Israel”.

Tomer further cautioned that “Entering into a large-scale war against Lebanon after eight months of fighting in Gaza will greatly increase the danger of ‘Israel’s’ ability to continue its work as a ‘state’ with an economy, society, and as an international player.”

In parallel, the “Israeli” intelligence figure admitted that “Hezbollah creates a threat that we couldn’t imagine and to which the ‘Israeli’ army has no response.”

“The ‘Israeli’ Air Force is no longer free to operate over Lebanon,” he said, noting that “Hezbollah has better tactical intelligence than ‘Israel’, or at least not inferior to it.”

Tomer also warned that “In any future war with Hezbollah, the cities of ‘Acre’, Tiberias, Haifa, and perhaps beyond that, up to Tel Aviv, will be destroyed, as is the case in ‘Kiryat Shmona’. Airports in ‘Israel’ will be also paralyzed.”

“It is not certain that the ‘Israeli’ systems that have been developed will know how to respond,” he said.
