The "Israeli" military has put its forces on full alert along the Lebanese border amid concerns over Hizbullah retaliation for Imad Moghnieh.

The military forces are on high alert on the northern border, fearing Hizbullah's revenge ahead of the first anniversary of the top military commander Imad Mugniyah--who was killed in a car bomb attack on February 12 in Damascus--a press TV correspondent reported from Beirut on Friday.

Hizbullah, the Lebanese resistance movement, had formerly vowed to avenge Mugniyah's assassination which allegedly 'was organized by Mossad'.

Although Tel Aviv denies any involvement in the murder, the movement's leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said earlier that all the evidence gathered so far indicates that "Israel's" Mossad service was behind the attack.

He said the settling of scores against "Israeli" is "a necessary thing" which has always been on the table.

"Israeli" Defense (War) Minister Ehud Barak however threatened Lebanon with a massive war if the movement tries to test "Israel".

He warned that the Lebanese government would be responsible for any possible attack by the movement.
