Speech of Hezbollah Secretary-General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah during a celebration honoring the martyrs who rose on the road to Al-Quds | 3-11-2023

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our Master and Prophet, the Seal of Prophets, Abi al-Qassem Muhammad Bin Abdullah, and his good and pure household and his good and chosen companions and all the prophets and messengers.

Peace and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you all.

I welcome this majestic company in the celebration to show our pride in all the martyrs. We’ve gathered today in a ceremony to honor them and renew our allegiance to their blood and goals.

Today, we commemorate the memory of these martyrs, the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, the martyrs of Hezbollah, the martyrs of the Lebanese Brigades to Resist the “Israeli” Occupation, the martyrs of the Al-Qassam Brigades in Lebanon, the martyrs of the Al-Quds Brigades in Lebanon, and the civilian martyrs who were unjustly martyred at the hands of the Zionists, including journalists.

We address, first of all, the families of the martyrs. We are talking about the martyrs of the Lebanese front, both Lebanese and Palestinians. We turn to the families of the martyrs and congratulate them for their dear and beloved ones receiving this divine medal. We also console them for the loss of these dear and beloved members of their families, be it a father, brother, husband, or son.

I ask God Almighty to accept everyone’s deeds. Our congratulations and condolences extend to all the families of the martyrs in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, in every place where martyrs rose in this battle.

The Al-Aqsa Flood battle has extended to more than one front and in more than one arena. I will not speak a lot about the martyrs because, in a few days, we will celebrate Martyr’s Day. God willing, we will talk more about them. However, these martyrs attained a great gain.

We only have to read some of God Almighty’s verses about them to know that they are a source of pride for their families and all of us. We can be certain that they went and departed to a place and a world that no eye has seen, no ear has heard of, and no human heart has ever thought of.

God Almighty says about the martyrs:

{And those who are martyred in the cause of Allah, He will never render their deeds void. He will guide them to their reward, improve their condition, and admit them into Paradise, having made it known to them. O believers! If you stand up for Allah, He will help you and make your steps firm.}

In Surah Ali Imran, He says {Never think of those martyred in the cause of Allah as dead. In fact, they are alive with their Lord, well provided for— rejoicing in Allah’s bounties and being delighted for those yet to join them. There will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. They are joyful for receiving Allah’s grace and bounty, and that Allah does not deny the reward of the believers.}

Now, they are alive. We do not mean here the Day of Resurrection. On the Day of Resurrection, all people will be alive, but now the martyrs are alive and joyful. They are rejoicing and enjoying God’s mercy and grace.

{Never say that those martyred in the cause of Allah are dead—in fact, they are alive! But you do not perceive it.}

Congratulations to all the martyrs, to the fighting martyrs, to the oppressed martyrs, to the martyrs - men, women, children, young and old - congratulations to them on their transition to that world, next to God, His angels, prophets, messengers, saints and martyrs, where there is no American arrogance, no Zionist tyranny, no aggression, no murder, no massacres, and therefore From this position of faith and belief, we look at the martyrs.

Congratulations to all the martyrs, to the martyred fighters, to the oppressed martyrs, to the young and old martyred men, women, and children. Congratulations to them on their transition to that world, next to God, His angels, prophets, messengers, awliya, and martyrs, where there is no American arrogance, no Zionist tyranny, no aggression, no murder, and no massacres. Therefore, it is from this position of faith and belief that we look at the martyrs.

To the families of the martyrs, I say to them: Your sons and dear ones have fought the greatest battle on the face of the earth. We have always said this in the past. If we wanted to search for a battle that was fully legitimate from a humanitarian, moral, and religious standpoint, we would not find a battle like the one in which we fight these Zionists and invaders occupying Palestine.

This is an indisputable battle, on the human, moral, and religious levels. Therefore, it is one of the clearest, greatest, and most evident examples of fighting for the sake of God Almighty. This is what we should all know.

Today, we turn to the families of the martyrs and express our pride in them. The world has heard their positions and words that express steadfastness and certainty, as well as submission and contentment with God’s will, choice, and selection for their dear martyrs.

This is our true strength before weapons. Our true strength lies in this faith, insight, awareness, deep commitment to the cause, great willingness to sacrifice, and limitless patience expressed by the fathers, mothers, wives, sons, daughters, and families of the martyrs.

We also salute the legendary and unparalleled people in this world - the people of Gaza. We saw on television men, women, and children emerging from under the rubble, and their homes were destroyed and families martyred. Yet, they cry out that everything they offered was a sacrifice for the resistance, Al-Aqsa, and Palestine.

Here lies the real power. Words and statements are unable to express the greatness of this people, their power, their faith, their steadfastness, and their patience. Likewise, what we are witnessing in the West Bank in terms of sacrifices, steadfastness, loftiness, and patience in all the arenas.

Brothers and sisters, today I will focus on the direct event, to understand what happened, to explain our position, to define our position, to define responsibilities, and to talk about the horizon. Of course, what is related to the Lebanese atmosphere, the existing national solidarity, and many aspects, and even in what I will address, I will point out that this needs a detailed discussion at a later time.

First, we must pay tribute to all those who expressed solidarity, took part in demonstrations, and provided assistance and support. These include people in Arab, Islamic, and Latin American countries. We must especially mention and salute the Iraqi and Yemeni people who entered the heart of this blessed battle.

Brothers and sisters, why did matters reach this point and what is the background to what happened on October 7 and the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation?

Of course, I will address these matters briefly because they must be mentioned to use them as a base to form a position.

1- You and the world know that the suffering and pain of the Palestinian people have been going on for more than 75 years. Hence, there is no need to elaborate. You are all familiar with this topic.

However, the conditions in recent years in Palestine have been very harsh, especially with this extremist, foolish, stupid, and brutal government.

Four main titles were pressing in the Palestinian situation:

1- The prisoners’ file: Thousands of Palestinian men, women, and children are languishing in “Israeli” prisons, some of whom have been in prison for many years. Some of them are sick and in danger of death, but no one is doing anything. The extremist government and this stupid minister put more pressure on the prisoners and their families, exacerbating things.

2- Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque file and what happened to them, especially in the past few months and the weeks leading up to the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation that had no precedent since the occupation of Al-Quds in 1967.

3- The siege on Gaza: For nearly 20 years, more than two million people have been living in a narrow space under a stifling siege and in difficult living conditions. No one in this world lifted a finger.

4- The new dangers that have begun to threaten the West Bank through new settlement projects also with this foolish and stupid extremist government, in addition to the daily killings, daily arrests, and home demolitions.

All of these issues were putting strong pressure on the Palestinians and the resistance movements in Palestine.

No one in this world was concerned, not the United Nations, the UN Security Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation,
the Arab League, the European Union, or all the known international blocs in the world.

Rather, Palestine and what is happening in it, including all these files, were forgotten. They were the world's last concern if they were even on the list of concerns. On the other hand, the enemy's policy was increasing in arrogance, tyranny, corruption, injustice, oppression, and humiliation.

Therefore, there had to be a major event that would shake this usurping and tyrannical entity and its arrogant supporters, especially those in Washington and London, reveal all these humanitarian files to the world, and re-present the issue of occupied Palestine, its oppressed and besieged people, and its threatened sanctities, as the primary cause in the world. ‏

Hence, the major jihadist operation on October 7 - Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which was carried out by the mujahideen of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades with the participation of the rest of the resistance factions in the Gaza Strip.

This is the first point in the background of this operation.

2- The decision behind this great, blessed, and broad operation was 100% Palestinian, and its implementation was 100% Palestinian. Its planners hid it from everyone, even from the resistance factions in Gaza and the rest of the countries and movements of the Axis of Resistance. This move guaranteed its absolute secrecy.

This absolute secrecy is what ensured the brilliant success of the operation through the element of astonishing surprise, contrary to what some people think. You know that some people who want to discourage or incite sedition infiltrate the ongoing battle.

Contrary to what some people think, this secrecy did not bother anyone in the resistance movements and the Axis of Resistance. Rather, we all praised it because it was a natural condition for the success of the work and had no negative impact at all on any decision made by a resistance movement in the Axis of Resistance.

On the contrary, this performance by the brothers in Hamas confirmed the true identity of the battle and the goals. It also obstructed the enemies’ and hypocrites’ path to falsify and distort, especially when they talk about the relations of the regional Palestinian resistance factions.

Usually in Lebanon, Palestine, and elsewhere, when a certain battle takes place, they quickly tie it to the Iranian nuclear file. They say that it is in service of the Iranian-European negotiations, the Iranian-American negotiations, and Iranian goals in the region. They quickly make up lies and deception. The Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, thanks to its Palestinian decision and its Palestinian implementation and no one being aware of it, proves that this battle is entirely Palestinian for the sake of Palestine and the Palestinian files as well as the issues of Palestine and the Palestinian people. It has no relation to any regional or international file.

This incident also confirms the credibility of what we have been saying over the past years. Our friends as well as our enemies should understand this, even if some cannot understand this truth - the decision of the resistance movements lies with the leaders of the resistance movements.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, since Imam Khomeini until His Eminence Imam Khamenei, adopts and publicly supports the resistance movements in Lebanon, Palestine, and the region, but it does not exercise any guardianship over them, over their leaders, or over their decisions.

What happened in the past and what happened in the Al-Aqsa Flood confirms this truth. Whoever wants to read what is happening today and could happen at any time in the future must understand that the real decision-makers are the resistance leaders, the people of the resistance, and the resistance fighters, who serve their main and true goals and cause.

3- The event and its repercussions: You all have been following the developments on the field. There is no need for me to explain what happened on October 7. We all saw it on television. It was a heroic, brave, creative, masterful, and great work that must be saluted. What did this great work lead to?

It led to creating an earthquake in the “Israeli” entity - a security, military, political, psychological, and moral earthquake that had strategic and existential repercussions.

[The earthquake] will leave effects on the present and future of this entity. Regardless of what the enemy government did in the past month and will do in the coming weeks and days, it will not be able at all to change the results, repercussions, and strategic and historical effects of the Al-Aqsa Flood on this entity and the future of the conflict in this entity.

It revealed many facts that we must all know and shed light on. Of course not now, at different times. Talking about the results, repercussions, and great effects of the Al-Aqsa Flood also requires another time. But most importantly, it revealed weakness and fragility and that it [“Israel”] is truly weaker than a spiderweb.

I have read in some “Israeli” media saying that the “Israelis” themselves have begun to believe me when I say that “Israel” is weaker than a spiderweb.

This is a fact proven by the Al-Aqsa Flood operation. The American administration, including its president, secretaries, and generals, rushed to hold this shaking entity so it could stand again and recover and protect it. So far, it has not been able to get back on its feet.

This incident and the US rushing to help “Israel” and support it  expose the weakness and failure of this entity. Can you imagine? Since the first days of the Al-Aqsa Flood and in the face of the besieged Gaza Strip, the “Israeli” government needed American fleets to come to the Mediterranean for moral and military support. American fleets!

Where is your army? Where is your air force? Where is your naval fleet? What happened to “Israel” which boasted that it was the strongest army in the region for American fleets and aircraft carriers as well as American generals and their expertise to come to the entity?

From the first day, a decision was made to open the American strategic stores in Palestine for the “Israeli” army. From the first days, “Israel” requested new weapons and new missiles from America. From the first day, “Israel” requested ten billion dollars. We haven't started yet. Is this a strong country? Is this a country that has the ability to stand on its feet? It needs American, Western, and European support. Presidents, heads of government, ministers, defense ministers, and generals came from all over the world to provide “Israel” with moral support. What did the Al-Aqsa Flood do to this entity and the leaders of this entity?

These results, repercussions, and effects must be explained and demonstrated so that we know that the sacrifices taking place now in Gaza, the West Bank, and on all fronts are worthy sacrifices because perhaps there are people who say that Hamas and the brothers in Gaza considered this. Yes, these achievements, these results, and these repercussions are worthy of all these sacrifices because they established a new phase in the conflict with this enemy. They established a new historical phase that concerns the fate of the Palestinian people, the peoples of the region, and the countries of the region. This is what happened in the Al-Aqsa Flood.

Therefore, it deserves all these sacrifices. There was and is no other option. The other option is silence, waiting for death, waiting for the West Bank to disappear, waiting for Al-Aqsa to disappear, waiting for more siege, waiting for the prisoners to die.

Therefore, this choice was correct, sound, wise, and courageous. It was made at the right time and is worthy of all these sacrifices.

4- How did the enemy react to the October 7 incident and the Al-Aqsa Flood? It was clear from the start that the enemy was lost and disoriented. As you know, it was a Saturday and a holiday. The timing the resistance chose was great. The “Israelis” were all sleeping because they were up all night drunk - not only in the Gaza envelope but also in Tel Aviv and Al-Quds. It took Netanyahu and Galant a few hours to come out and wake up.

The “Israelis” were dazed, mad, lost, angry, and enraged with madness. Therefore, when they went to reclaim the settlements in the Gaza envelope from the Palestinian resistance, they were the ones who committed massacres against “Israeli” settlers.

It was not Hamas and the rest of the resistance factions whom the “Israelis” were accusing of committing the massacres.

Voices, articles, and investigations within the “Israeli” entity have now begun to provide evidence of this. When the dust of the battle settles and the investigation committees begin their work, the world will discover that most of the civilians that were said to be killed by Hamas or the Palestinians were killed by weapons, bullets, shells, and missiles of the “Israeli” army, which was angry, mad, and lost.

In the face of Gaza and the horrific incident the enemy was subjected to, it seems that the governments of the “Israeli” enemy do not learn from past experiences at all. We always hear them say that “Israel” benefits, conducts investigations, and learns lessons, but that does not show.

It does not appear that they benefit from experiences and learn lessons, especially from their wars with the resistance movements in Lebanon and Palestine. This is clear. What is happening today has happened in the past - in Lebanon in July 2006 and in repeated wars with Gaza - of course with a difference that I will talk about - the quantitative and qualitative difference, but of the same nature and essence.

One of the most important mistakes the enemy government committed in previous wars and is committing now are setting high goals it cannot achieve and accomplish. For example, once they said that the goal was to eliminate Hamas in the Gaza Strip, all of Hamas. Sometimes they say they want to overthrow the Hamas government. Other times they say they want to eliminate the leadership of Hamas or the military wing of Hamas, but sometimes they say they want to eliminate Hamas. Is there a sane person who sets such a goal?

After that, when they woke up and the families of the prisoners, were making demands, they set another goal, which is to recover the prisoners held by the resistance and the resistance factions in Gaza without restrictions and conditions.

Let me ask any person with extensive experience with the resistance factions from the beginning of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements until today. Has there ever been a day when the “Israelis” were able to liberate their prisoners without exchange and negotiation?

They do not benefit from their experiences. What happened in Lebanon in 2006 is the same thing. After the two captives’ operation, the “Israelis” said that the goal of the war was to eliminate Hezbollah, to crush Hezbollah. Of course, America, the West, and some Arab countries backed them.

The goal was to crush Hezbollah in Lebanon and bring back the two prisoners without restrictions and conditions. They fought for 33 days but were not able to crush Hezbollah or recover the two prisoners without negotiations and [prisoner] exchange. This experience is the same.

The same thing is happening today in Gaza. However, there is one fundamental difference which is the magnitude of the crimes, massacres, killings, and genocide that are being carried out there. In the July War, more than 150 thousand homes were destroyed, completely and partially. There were thousands of martyrs, but in the end, the Lebanese people stood firm, the resistance on the front lines stood firm, and the enemy was forced to stop and give up its goals.

Today, what is happening in Palestine and the Gaza Strip, brothers and sisters, also reveals the stupidity, foolishness, and inability of the “Israelis”. What are they doing?

They are killing people in Gaza, children and women. Most of the martyrs are children and women. The overwhelming majority are civilians. They are destroying churches, mosques, hospitals, and schools. There is no sanctity for anything, neither blood nor any institution in the Gaza Strip. They are destroying buildings full of residents. They are destroying entire neighborhoods under the eyes of the world. Does this require the most powerful air force in the region? Does this require a strong army in the region?

This can be done by any army that has some planes and missiles. However, the “Israelis” have failed to provide a single real military achievement in a whole month. When they advanced on land, it was the same scenario as in the July War.

When the “Israelis” found that the bombing, massacres, displacement of people, destruction of homes, and thousands of martyrs and wounded did not affect the resistance, they launched their ground offensive.

The whole world saw heroism in Maroun al-Ras, Bint Jbeil, Aita, and other border villages and the massacres of tanks and the dead and wounded among the enemy’s ranks. Today, they are doing the same thing in Gaza. They are careful not to carry out a big operation. They are selling it to the world that they are not carrying out a large ground operation. They are cautious because they are afraid, helpless, and a failure.

We all witnessed firsthand the courage and heroism of the Palestinian resistance fighters. When the resistance fighter advances and places a bomb on top of a tank, how will this army fight in a land of this type and with fighters like these?

This is what the enemy has done so far. In the direct military effort, they showed hesitation, confusion, fear, and weakness. Yes, what they have mastered for 75 years is committing massacres in Palestine, Lebanon, and the entire region, and the goal is to undermine the will of the leadership of the resistance, for it to raise the white flags, surrender, and submit.

I believe that what we are seeing every day, night, and hour in the Gaza Strip, including the scenes of men, women, and children emerging from under the rubble and chanting in support of the resistance, tell these Zionists that when the battle ends, Gaza will be victorious and the enemy will be defeated and will not be able to achieve anything through killing and massacres.

5- Brothers and sisters, all of this that is happening in the Gaza Strip with the whole world watching reveals and confirms to us once again:

First: the savage and barbaric nature of this entity, of “Israel”, of the usurping entity that they planted in our region, in Palestine, based on the ill-fated Belfour promise [Balfour Declaration], the anniversary of which was yesterday.

The peoples of the region, including the Palestinians, Egyptians, Jordanians, Syrians, and Lebanese, have been engulfed by its fire and wars for 75 years.

After all these years of them trying to tell the Arab people, the Islamic world, and the world that what you have in your neighborhood is a democratic state, a state of human values, a state of morals, a state of law, and a state that respects international law, the martyrs of Gaza, the children of Gaza, the women of Gaza, the oppressed in Gaza, as in all previous massacres, are exposing all these fake masks.

International and Arab policies and media have contributed to deceiving our people and pushed them toward normalization with this entity or remaining silent about this entity.

Second: the direct American responsibility for all this killing, massacres, barbarism, as well as American hypocrisy. Biden said that they’ve instructed the “Israelis” to pay attention to international law and that the “Israelis” have the right to self-defense, but they must pay attention to civilians. Empty talk, hypocrisy!

Gaza is being crushed for the last 30 days Meanwhile, the international community, the countries of the world, and the West, which praise humanitarian values and human rights, believe a false pretext that Hamas beheaded children but are unable to provide any evidence of this at all.

They remain silent about the thousands of children whose heads are being cut off and whose bodies are being dismembered in the Gaza Strip. Let us know the truth about America, the West, the international community, the so-called international laws, and the law of the jungle that governs this world.

Brothers and sisters, through what is happening we must know today that America is fully responsible for the ongoing war in Gaza and its people and that “Israel” is merely a tool of implementation. America is the one preventing the condemnation of “Israel” in the Security Council. America is the one preventing a ceasefire in Gaza. America is the one preventing the aggression against Gaza from stopping.

Once again, America has proved to be, as Imam Khomeini said, the Great Satan. It is primarily responsible for all the massacres in the present and past century, from Hiroshima to Vietnam to Iraq and Afghanistan, Lebanon, Palestine, and the entire region.
It must be held accountable for its crimes and massacres, and it must be punished for what it is committing against the people of our region.

In this context, brothers and sisters, comes the decision of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq to attack US military bases in Iraq and Syria based on the grounds that America is the one running the war in Gaza and must pay the price for its aggression, support, occupation, and crimes in Iraq, Syria, and Palestine.

This is a wise decision by the leadership of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. It is a wise, correct, courageous, and blessed decision. We heard today and yesterday also new steps towards occupied Palestine at more than one point, and this will become clear in the next few hours and days. We salute these honorable resistance fighters who support their brothers, provide relief to the oppressed and tormented, and truly fight the battle.

6- Brothers and sisters, it is the duty of every free and honorable person in this world to clarify these facts that we talked about, in the battle of public opinion that they are waging with lies, forgery, and distortion. The global public opinion has begun to turn against these tyrants, against the real killers of children.

The whole world is seeing thousands of children and women being killed and their bodies dismembered. This is the weakest of faith - the battle between the truth and falsehood; the battle between humanity and savagery and barbarism represented by America, Britain, “Israel”, and some Western countries.

Today, defending the people of Gaza is a requirement of Man’s humanity - be it in chanting, writing, making a stand, demonstrating, supporting, speaking out, as well as fighting.

Whoever remains silent must revisit his humanity, faith, and honor, and here everyone must bear their responsibility.

Brothers and sisters, I come to the issue of bearing responsibility. In 1948, when the world abandoned the Palestinian people, this entity was established, and the Palestinian people and all the peoples of the region and all the countries of the region paid the consequences, negatives, and pain of the establishment of this entity. The consequences were not only on the Palestinian people, they were on the Jordanians, Egyptians, Syrians, and Lebanese. Perhaps Lebanon is one of the countries and people that have suffered the most from the effects of the presence of this aggressor, usurper, and greedy entity. This is a historical fact. Who can evade it or deny it?

Today is the same thing. Today, what is happening in Gaza is not a war like the rest of the previous wars, and it is not an incident like the rest of the incidents. It is not a battle like the rest of the battles. It is a decisive, historical battle. What comes after it is not at all like before it, and this forces everyone to bear responsibility.

When talking about taking responsibility, we must set immediate goals that we must all work towards achieving.

In our opinion, there are two goals. The first goal, which must be worked on day and night, is to stop the aggression and the war against the Gaza Strip. The second goal is for Gaza to be victorious, for the Palestinian resistance to be victorious in Gaza, and for Hamas to be victorious, particularly in Gaza. These are goals that must be kept in mind and which we must work towards achieving.

The first goal is to stop the war and the aggression as well as its reasons, and motives. This is from a humane, moral, religious, and legal perspective. This is not up for discussion.

As for the second goal, brothers and sisters and the audience listening, it is in the interest of everyone. It is certainly, first and foremost, in the interest of the Palestinian people, all the Palestinian people.

Some people aim to cause distortion and tell you that if Gaza wins, it means Iran wins. Let’s put things out in the open, if Gaza wins, it means the Muslim Brotherhood wins in the region. This is misleading and distorted.

The victory of Gaza means the victory of the Palestinian people, the detainees in Palestine, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Al-Quds, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. It is also a victory for the countries and peoples of the region, especially the neighboring countries. There is no time for me to explain in detail.

But it is enough to point out that Gaza’s victory today is an Egyptian national interest, a Jordanian national interest, a Syrian national interest, and first and foremost among all countries, Gaza’s victory today is a Lebanese national interest. I believe this matter was explained during past few the days and over the past few years.

What does it mean for “Israel” to win in Gaza? What does it mean for the resistance to be defeated in Gaza? What are the repercussions of this on the countries of the region - on Palestine and the Palestinian cause and especially in Lebanon - in the security and political dimensions, the popular dimension, and the demographic dimension?

The enemy is threatening Lebanon and the people of Lebanon. It is making threats while drowning in the sands of Gaza. It is helpless and a failure, yet it is threatening the Lebanese people. What is it threatening the Lebanese with? With the blood of children in Gaza, the blood and body parts of women in Gaza, with the destroyed mosques and churches in Gaza. This is the utmost brutality and barbarism.

Hence, brothers and sisters, it is the responsibility of everyone in this world. Every free and honorable person in this world must bear responsibility. Arab and Islamic countries and governments must make every effort to impose a cessation of the aggression on Gaza, at the very least.

If you do not want to work to achieve the second goal, your religion, humanity, morals, and consciences force you to work for the first goal, which is to stop the aggression. It is not enough to denounce and make statements of denunciation and condemnation. Cut ties and withdraw your ambassadors. It is not enough for us to deliver speeches, and at the same time send gas, oil, and food supplies to “Israel”. Unfortunately, in past wars, our speech was to the Arab and Islamic countries to not export oil to America. Today, we dream, demand, and say to the Arab and Islamic countries to not export oil and not to send supplies to “Israel”.

I read some “Israelis” mocking the Arab countries, saying: 22 Arab regimes and countries cannot evacuate a wounded patient from Gaza and bring an aid truck into Gaza. Has Arab inability reached this level? The brothers in Gaza are not appealing to the Arab countries to send their armies, weapons, or missiles. But do you not have the strength to open the Rafah crossing and force the entry of aid and the evacuation of the wounded?

Can’t these people, including kings, presidents, ministers, scholars, and the elite in the Arab and Islamic world along with their wives and children, engage in a sit-in at the Rafah crossing near the women and children of Gaza and turn the border with Rafah into a platform through which they address the entire world and their people and hold everyone responsible?

In any case, we must say this. I do not want to accuse anyone of treason or resort to insults. Doing that is pointless. Rather, we must not give up on appealing, demanding, establishing the argument, and holding people responsible. Perhaps in a moment, some grow a conscience or dignity.

7- As for the resistance movements - I think everyone is waiting for this last part- the Islamic resistance in Iraq has begun to carry out its responsibility and announced that it may enter a new phase.

The brothers in Yemen, the honorable brothers in Yemen, the Yemeni army, the Ansarullah movement, the patient, oppressed, jihadi Yemeni people, publicly and officially, and despite all the American, Western, and foreign threats, made several initiatives so far. The Yemenis launched missiles and drones even if they were shot down. However, when they continue [launching missiles and drones], eventually these missiles and drones will reach Eilat and the “Israeli” military bases in southern Palestine. Our salutations and appreciation to them.

As for the Lebanese front - some say that the Sayyed will announce entry into the battle - we entered the battle on October 8. We have entered the battle since then. The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon began its operation on the second day of the Al-Aqsa Flood. We truthfully and justly did not know anything. On Saturday, we found out like everybody else, and we moved quickly from one stage to another. On the second day, operations began in the Shebaa Farm area and the Kfar Shuba Hills, and after that, they extended to the entire Lebanese border with occupied Palestine.

You have been keeping up with news of operations on a daily and detailed basis. What is happening on our front is very important and very influential. To some who expect or demand that Hezbollah quickly engage in a comprehensive and all-out war with the enemy, what is happening on the border may seem modest. However, if we look at what is happening on the border objectively, we will find it to be very important and very influential. Of course, these won’t be the last. What is happening on our Lebanese front, on the one hand, is unprecedented in the history of the entity, since 1948, since there were “Israeli” military sites on the border with Lebanon, and since there were settlements, settlers, and occupiers in northern occupied Palestine on the border with Lebanon. This did not even happen during the July War.

What has been taking place since October 8 is that all “Israeli” military sites, from the sea to the Shebaa Farms and the Kafr Shuba Hills, are being subject to daily and concentrated offensive operations targeting these sites, tanks, vehicles, drones, soldiers, technical equipment, which are their eyes and ears, and various weapons.

Since October 8, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has been waging a real battle that can only be felt by those who are present in the border area, both fighters and residents. It is a real battle that is different from all the battles that the resistance fought in Lebanon, whether before 2000 or in 2006 and beyond.

It is a different kind of battle, in its circumstances, titles, tools, targets, and procedures. That is why it is offering this large constellation of brave, self-sacrificing martyrs who insisted on staying and being on the frontlines.

Brothers, on Saturday, October 7, immediately after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the enemy began withdrawing regular forces from the border. Let me explain a little what these operations achieved so far.

When we talk about martyrs on the Lebanese front, there are approximately 57 martyrs, including the martyrs of the Lebanese Brigades, this is in addition to the martyrs of the Al-Qassam Brigades, martyrs of the Al-Quds Brigades in Lebanon, and the civilian martyrs.

Let us see what the blood of these martyrs accomplished. This is very important for us to know how to proceed.

‏First, at the border on Saturday, October 7, the enemy began withdrawing forces from the border with Lebanon because, of course, it was in a state of moral collapse and wanted to mobilize forces and call in reserves. Imagine, for the sake of Gaza and the besieged Gaza Strip, the limited space, it wants to send the entire army to Gaza. It wanted to withdraw from the West Bank and northern Palestine and replace them with some reserve forces. It summoned the reservists. This, of course, could have a precedent once or twice in the history of the entity.

The operations escalated day after day until yesterday when they forced the enemy to keep its forces at the borders and in the north of occupied Palestine. It even sent more forces. The “Israelis” brought the forces it intended to transfer from the West Bank to Gaza, especially the elite forces, to the north of occupied Palestine.

Therefore, I can say that the Lebanese front reduced a large part of the forces that were supposed to be used to attack Gaza. Here, we are exposing ourselves to danger, it is true. Some in Lebanon say that we are taking a risk. It is true, but this adventure is based on useful and correct calculations. ‏

Look, my brothers, if our position was only showing political solidarity, delivering speeches, and holding daily demonstrations, the “Israelis” would have been at ease on the northern border and all of their forces would have gone to Gaza and the West Bank. But what did the Lebanon Front do? I have accurate numbers of forces, vehicles, divisions, brigades, battalions, etc. However, this requires explanation. So, I asked the brothers to provide a close estimate in layman's terms.

Today, the Lebanon front was able to attract a third of the “Israeli” army to the border. A third of the “Israeli” army is now present in front of these mujahideen who are fighting on the border. This is one. An important part of these forces are elite forces, and these could have gone to Gaza.

Two, half of “Israel's” naval capabilities are now in the Mediterranean facing us and Haifa. Three, a quarter of the air force is deployed toward Lebanon. ‏Four, approximately half of the missile defense, i.e. the Iron Dome and the Patriot, is directed towards the Lebanon front. Approximately one-third of the logistical forces are directed towards Lebanon. This is one of the direct fruits. These are correct and accurate numbers. Of course, the brothers can later put numbers, but I wanted to mention approximate percentages. This is first.
Secondly, tens of thousands of settlement residents were displaced, and thousands of others were evacuated. In other words, some people left on their own, and others were forced to evacuate by the government and the “Israeli” army. In the north, 43 settlements have been evacuated, and those who are now in the settlements are mostly soldiers, not civilians. ‏

In the south, opposite Gaza, 58 settlements have been evacuated. Those who have been evacuated from the north and the south put great pressure on the psychological, moral, financial, and economic levels, and the Minister of Finance is complaining about the issue of pressure and time.

Thirdly (which is the most important), these operations on the border and in the Shebaa Farms created a state of anxiety, anticipation, panic, and fear among the enemy’s political and military leadership, and also among the Americans (we will say a few words about them in the end).

There was fear about the possibility of this front leading to additional escalation or a full-fledged war or that this front would spiral into a wide war. This is a realistic possibility, and it could happen. The enemy must take every account of it and it will. They expressed and talked about that, and it is included in their calculations. We read it strongly in all the American, French, European, Western, and Arabic messages that reach us daily - from October 7 to today. ‏

This result, creating a state of anxiety, ambiguity, and panic among the enemy leadership, serves two fundamental and important matters:

1- It makes the enemy carefully calculate their steps towards Lebanon. Here we are talking about deterrence, about the real “Israeli” fear. If one operation from the past month was launched at an “Israeli” post, tank, or gathering at the border, the enemy could not have tolerated it. however, today they tolerate all of this and control their pace because they have a real fear of things heading towards what they fear and are avoiding.

So, the first thing is this presence on the front, these operations on the front, this readiness on the front. This daily work deters the enemy. Otherwise, we all heard the Minister of Defense and others talking about seizing the opportunity of American and international support for “Israel” in its war on Gaza to open a war on Lebanon or carry out a pre-emptive operation towards Lebanon. The resistance operations in the south and the blood of our martyrs and your martyrs in the south tell this enemy, who may think of attacking Lebanon or carrying out a pre-emptive operation towards Lebanon, that you will commit the greatest foolishness in your history and existence.

The “Israelis” are scaring us and telling the Lebanese to take a look at Gaza. We have seen these scenes since 1948, and they are not new to us. The massacres in Lebanon from Qana to Sabra and Shatila are examples. On the contrary, these scenes in Gaza will make us more convinced and confident in the necessity of steadfastness, fighting, confronting, challenging, and not surrendering, regardless of the threats and pressures. ‏

2- “Israel” will include ambiguity and anxiety in its calculations as it deals with Gaza, especially in ground operations. It is taking all this into account.

Hence, these are the goals and results that today’s confrontation in the south and the blood of the martyrs achieved, in addition to the human and material losses that befell this enemy during the past few weeks.

These operations, the blood of the martyrs, and the sacrifices made by the martyrs, the wounded, the resistance fighters, and our honorable people, who are still in the villages or those bearing the burdens of temporary displacement, deserve this position and this performance.

These operations are an expression of our solidarity with Gaza, its people, and its resistance. We offer the blood of the martyrs and the sweat of the mujahideen. We stay up late at night and face dangers to relieve pressure from them amid the state of madness and loss that dominates the enemy’s political and military leadership.

8- We get to the important point. Let the world know. We’ve been under pressure, communications, and threats for weeks. We’ve even been told from day one that if you launch operations in the south, if you open the front in the south, these American fleets will come for you. The American planes will bomb you.
This was told to us on Sunday, October 8, and we were told for several days when some Palestinian groups from Hamas and Jihad entered from the Lebanese border into occupied Palestine. During the first operation, we were threatened that American planes would bomb us. The second group entered, the third group entered, and new groups will also enter, God willing. This threat would not have changed our position at all. Therefore, we have begun work on this front. The escalation and development of this front depends on one of two basic things:

1- The course and development of events in Gaza. This front is a solidarity front; it is a front in support of Gaza. Therefore, it develops and moves in light of the events there and what is required by the nature of the events, threats, and developments there. ‏

2- What controls our Lebanese front is the behavior of the Zionist enemy towards Lebanon. Once again, I warn it against attacks against civilians who were martyred. This will take us back to a civilian for a civilian.

In any case, the enemy's course of behavior towards Lebanon also controls our front. I say with all transparency, honesty, clarity, and ambiguity, with all transparency, honesty, clarity, and ambiguity - constructive ambiguity - that all possibilities on our Lebanese front are open, and that all options are on the table and we can resort to them at any time. We must all be prepared, ready, and present for all future possibilities and hypotheses.

I tell the Americans: Threatening and intimidating us and the resistance fighters in our region is pointless. It has no effect on the resistance movements or the countries of resistance.

We received messages in which we were told that if you continue the operations in the south, America will not only bomb you in Lebanon, but it will also bomb Iran. Can you imagine that?

Threatening and intimidating us and the resistance fighters in our region is pointless. These fleets of yours in the Mediterranean do not frighten us, nor have they ever frightened us. And I tell you with all honesty and frankness that the fleets you are threatening with, we have prepared for them as well.

To the Americans, remember your defeats in Lebanon, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and your humiliating exit from Afghanistan. Those who defeated you in Lebanon in the early 1980s are still alive, and their children and grandchildren are with them today as well.

If American and Western policy calls for preventing the expansion of confrontation in the region, then its path is not to threaten and intimidate the honorable resistance fighters who defend the oppressed and defend the holy sites. Rather, its path is to stop the aggression against Gaza. “Israel” is your tool, your soldier, and your servant, and under your American guardianship.

You can stop the aggression against Gaza because it is your aggression. Whoever wants to prevent a regional war - and the speech is to the Americans - must hasten to stop the aggression against Gaza, and you know very well that if war breaks out in the region, your fleets will be of no use, nor will fighting from the air be of any benefit. The first to pay the price are your interests, soldiers, and fleets. These will be the victims and the biggest losers.

Today, the whole world is called upon, in the name of this oppressed blood, the blood of thousands of children and women in Gaza, in the name of civilians, in the name of mosques, churches, and hospitals, in the name of everything humane, moral, and of value, to take a stand, to work diligently night and day to stop the aggression.‏

Dear brothers and sisters, I tell our Palestinian people, our people in Gaza, and all the honorable resistance fighters in Palestine and in our region. Since the establishment of the resistance and after the establishment of the entity, we all have been waging a battle of steadfastness.

Our battle has not reached the stage of victory by knockout. We still need time - we are just being realistic. However, we are winning with points. This is how the resistance was victorious in Lebanon in 1985, in 2000, and in 2006. This is how the resistance was victorious in Gaza, and this is how the resistance in the West Bank accomplished achievements. This is how the resistance was victorious in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was through steadfastness, patience, and the ability to endure.

This is what the enemy does not have. People come out from under the rubble in Gaza and show support for the resistance. In the July war, homes were destroyed and people came out and showed support for the resistance. Do you find this in the people brought from all over the world? Do they offer their house, son, and husband for the sake of “Israel”? We haven't heard any of this yet. ‏

The battle, then, is a battle of steadfastness, patience, endurance, attaining achievements, accumulating achievements, thwarting the enemy, and preventing the enemy from achieving its goals. With this, we will be victorious. I repeat and say that we must work to stop the aggression against Gaza, and we must work for Gaza to be victorious and for the resistance to be victorious in Gaza. ‏

I tell you, first, out of faith in the divine promise that promised victory to the truthful, patient, struggling believers. This is God’s promise, and God never broke His promise to us when He found us truly patient and steadfast, fighting for His sake, no matter how great the sacrifices are.

Sacrifices are evidence of honesty and sincerity that bring divine victory. This is how we were in all previous wars. From my personal experience with His Eminence, the Imam and Leader, Sayyed Khamenei, I tell you that he repeated more than once his certainty and faith, based on his certainty in the divine promise, that Gaza and Palestine will be victorious.

He was the one who told us a few days after the July War when there was no prospect of victory that we will be victorious and will even become a regional power. ‏

I say to our people in Gaza, despite all the wounds, to our people in the West Bank, to all the Palestinian people, to all the resistant peoples in the region, to all those whose hearts beat for children, women, and the oppressed in Palestine and Gaza: Bearing responsibility, being steadfast and patient, and the blood and sacrifices we make in the eyes of God and for the sake of God will result in certain victory, God willing.

Even though today we are celebrating and honoring our dear and pure martyrs, we will meet soon to celebrate, God willing, the victory of Gaza, the people of Gaza, and the resistance of Gaza.

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
