The United States has intelligence stating that resistance groups across the Middle East are ready to execute more operations against US occupation military bases across the region, according to a report released on Tuesday by CNN.

The claim follows a series of drone and rocket operations on the US occupation bases in Iraq and Syria, as part of the retaliation to the US-backed 'Israeli' onslaught against defenseless civilians in Gaza.

An unnamed US official in the region told CNN that there were “red lights flashing everywhere.”

Earlier on Tuesday, resistance groups carried out three separate attacks on the US bases in Syria. At least five similar operations were carried out by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq over the last week.

The report also comes as Iran is demonstratively strengthening its ties with Russia.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday met with Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi in Tehran. "In a traditionally trusting atmosphere, current aspects of the bilateral agenda were substantively discussed with an emphasis on further building up the entire complex of multifaceted Russian-Iranian partnership," stated Lavrov.
