Huge demonstrations have been organized in many countries protesting the "Israeli" savage aggression on Gaza strip on Saturday. Lebanon, Iran, Jordan and Ramallah and Egypt have been protesting to show support or the people of Gaza condemning "Israel" for this inhumane operation.

Around 2,000 angry Egyptians demonstrated in Cairo against "Israel's" attacks on the Gaza Strip which on Saturday killed more than 205 Palestinians, accusing President Hosni Mubarak of being an accomplice.

"Mubarak and ("Israeli" Foreign Minister Tzipi) Livni have agreed on the genocide of the Palestinian people," read one banner. "Mubarak is an accomplice in attacks against the Palestinian people," read another.

Livni met with Mubarak in Cairo on Thursday and said "Israel" would strike back at the Hamas rulers of Gaza after a sharp escalation of violence in the Palestinian territory dashed hopes of a new Egyptian-mediated truce.

"Down, down Hosni Mubarak," the crowd chanted, calling for the "Israeli" ambassador to Cairo to be expelled and the embassy closed down. "Palestine is Arab, whatever Zionism does," they chanted, brandishing photos of Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit arm-in-arm with Livni.

Mohammad Mahdi Akef, the supreme guide of Egypt's largest opposition group the Muslim Brotherhood, also attended the demonstration in downtown Cairo.

In Lebanon, Hizbullah called for a huge protest outside Sayed Al-Shuhada'a complex in the Southern Suburb (Dahyeh) of Beirut at 3:30 (Beirut timing). Demonstrations also have been held at Ain el-Helwe refugee camp in Saida. Dozens of youths hit the streets to express solidarity with the Palestinians and set fire to tires.

Hundreds of protesters in the Jordanian capital of Amman demonstrated in front of the nearby U.N. headquarters, waving Hamas banners and condemning "Israel's" strikes.

In Syria's al-Yarmouk camp, outside Damascus, dozens of Palestinians also protested the attack as well, vowing to continue fighting "Israel". "It's a Zionist holocaust, but it won't dissuade us from going on with our struggle to achieve our goals," said Ali Barakah, 42, one of the protesters.

Arab-"Israeli" (1948-Palestinian) leaders slammed the "Israeli" assault on Gaza Saturday, referring to it as a "war crime." Knesset Member Jamal Zahalka, who participated in a rally in Nazareth, called for a general strike by "Israel's" Arab community in protest of the operation in Gaza.

"Following this offensive, the world should punish "Israel" and impose a siege on it, because if the Gaza blockade is the result of the firing, then "Israel" fired in one day what the Palestinians have fired in five years," he said.

"I call for the indictment of Barak on war crime charges in Gaza," he said. "Barak is attempting to win votes in exchange for Palestinian blood, yet it's not only Barak; all "Israeli" government ministers are war criminals."

Meanwhile, Arab-"Israelis" in many communities nationwide hit the streets Saturday afternoon to protest the "Israeli" aggression in the Gaza Strip. Rallies were also reported in the Arab world and in major West Bank cities.
