Zionist occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, and shot dead four Palestinians.
In a tweet, Shehab News Agency cited Akram Rajoub, the governor of Jenin, as saying that four young men were martyred by ‘Israeli’ occupation forces at the Jenin refugee camp at dawn on Monday.
He noted that the bodies of two of the victims were being held by the Zionist authorities.
According to Palestinian media reports, resistance fighters confronted ‘Israeli’ occupation forces during which loud explosions and gun-firing were heard.
The martyrs were identified as Saleh al-Ammar, Raed Abu Seif, Amjad Husniyah and Nour Jarrar.
The Palestinian Information Center said in a tweet that the Zionist forces also detained three Palestinians during the raid.
According to the PIC, Zionist media outlets had recently reported that the ‘Israeli’ army was preparing for a military operation in Jenin.
The Tel Aviv regime occupied East al-Quds, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip during the Six Day War in 1967. It later had to withdraw from Gaza but has been occupying the other territories since.
