Lebanon Registers 1,552 COVID-19 Cases, 5 Deaths in Last 24 Hrs.

Lebanon recorded 1,552 COVID-19 cases and five deaths in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry reported Sunday.
The new numbers bring the total to 571,650 cases and 7,943 deaths since the virus was first detected in Lebanon in February 2020. Out of the latest figures, 43 were among travelers arriving in Lebanon.
A total of 3,137 first-dose vaccine jabs were administered, as well as 2,447 second-dose jabs, resulting in a total of 1,010,088 individuals or 21.2 percent of the eligible population now fully vaccinated in Lebanon since the rollout began six months ago.
