Hezbollah Denounces Sadr City Explosion, Urges Iraqi Unity against Conspiracies

Hezbollah issued the following statement:

Hezbollah strongly condemns the terrorist attack that targeted innocent Iraqi citizens in the Sadr City on the eve of the Holy Eid al-Adha while the Muslims perform the Great Hajj rituals on Mount Arafat, leaving dozens martyred and others plagued injured.

Hezbollah finds in this coward act a return to murders and the criminal policy pursued by the Takfiri terrorist organizations and their international and regional sponsors, which don’t hide to the sublime Iraqi people but harm.

The decisive response to such crimes and conspiracies is through the Iraqi unity, solidarity, and hard work to chase the criminals and eliminate them.

As Hezbollah stands in solidarity with the fraternal Iraqi people, it asks Allah for mercy to the martyrs, the recovery of the injured, and disgrace to the enemies of Iraq.
