From Dahyieh to Gaza: Our Battle is One, and Our Victory is Yours

Hezbollah organized a ceremony to show solidarity with Palestine, its people, and its resistance.
The event, which was held in Haret Hreik, the southern suburb of Beirut, was attended by the head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, His Eminence Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, and the Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Ziad Al-Nakhalah. Meanwhile, a member of Hamas’s Political Bureau, Osama Hamdan, was there representing Ismail Haniyeh, who heads the bureau. Massive crowds also filled the Shura Square.
Sayyed Safieddine stated that the present-day capabilities of the resistance are far greater than in 2006, and its strength has increased exponentially. He added that Gaza’s resistance also possesses greater capabilities that it did in 2014.
According to Sayyed Safieddine, the Zionists are in a state of decline, while the resistance is on an upward trajectory.
"When the necessary conditions for the great showdown appear, you will find all the people of our region striking one blow to remove the enemy," he exclaimed.
Safieddine believes that Palestine’s battle today is a battle to defend Al-Quds and its identity, adding that Al-Quds is the nation’s honor.
“This battle is different from the rest of the battles. Today, Hezbollah is with the Palestinian people behind one cause and one battle. Your missiles are our missiles, and our victory and your victory are one.”
Sayyed Safieddine pointed out that "There is no room for neutrality in the battle for Al-Quds. Either you are with Al-Quds or with the enemy."
"The battle to defend Al-Quds united Palestine and the people of the Arab and Islamic worlds, and it showed that when the nation is united in its rightful causes, it stands with greatness before the enemy."
He also stated that the Zionists, Americans, and the weak have worked to divide the nation, disperse its people, and create crises in society to tighten their grip on Al-Quds and Palestine.
“Today, the answer is that the page of division and strife has been turned and a new page, Al-Quds, unity, and resistance is opened,” Safieddine said. "We are all resistance. No to discord, disunity, and normalization."
Sayyed Safieddine maintains that the “Israeli” enemy is in a state of political crisis and is today repeating the foolishness of 2006. He added that the Zionist leaders did not understand the recommendations of the Winograd Committee after the July 2006 war.
According to the Hezbollah official, the axis of resistance possesses creative minds, plans, and more abilities and courage.
Sayyed Safieddine called on Benjamin Netanyahu to quickly recognize the results of the equation imposed by the resistance's missiles in Gaza, stressing that the Palestinian youth can be victorious and pave the way for a brighter future.
“We will always remain with you in the unity of the cause, the front, and the confrontation,” he told the people of Palestine.
"We in Hezbollah look forward to the day when we will fight side by side with the Palestinian people to eradicate the cancerous gland and eliminate ‘Israel’ from existence," he added.
The Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad movement, Ziyad Al-Nakhalah, personally attended the ceremony. In his speech, he said that "Gaza today is recording a new history in defending Palestine, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa."
"We are in a major battle taking place on the ground in all of Palestine," he said. "The resistance is fighting the battle of Al-Quds with full force and its abilities and has forced the enemy into an unprecedented historical deadlock."
He pointed out that "despite the blockade and the difficult conditions, our people still continue their struggle and resistance."
"We will fight the Zionists over time, and thwart their dreams. We will continue to fight them until they leave."
"The enemy entity is unable to enter into a ground confrontation with our resistance and it continues to bomb peaceful civilians," he said. "Al-Quds will remain the title of our struggle with the Zionist project."
For his part, Osama Hamdan said "the resistance, like the Palestinian people, will not disappoint its nation."
"We will soon write the story of victory and the end of the ‘Israeli’ entity and its demise,” he added.
"The resistance has surpassed the stage of reacting to equations. It has the ability to create equations."
"Our resistance is a resistance for the sake of liberation and not for a return to negotiations, and today it is paving the way for the demise of the Zionist entity," he concluded.
