The joint operations chamber of the Palestinian resistance factions announced that it has launched more than a hundred missiles towards the ‘Israeli’-occupied territories as part of “Operation al-Quds’ Sword’ that was decided in response to the ‘Israeli’ aggression against al-Quds and the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.

The chamber explained in a statement early on Tuesday that the missiles’ launching is in the course of addressing the ‘Israeli’ aggression against the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

“The al-Quds’ Sword Battle is to defend the holy city, in retaliation to the occupation’s crimes against its people, and in response to the cries of its free people,” the statement read.

The joint chamber also emphasized that the resistance factions managed to hit the enemy, starting with a missile strike that targeted the occupied al-Quds and the targeting of an ‘Israeli’ vehicle northern Gaza Strip. This was followed by a barrage of missiles targeting Tel Aviv surroundings and the enemy’s sites in the occupied territories and the settlements located in the so-called “Gaza Envelope.”

“We tell the enemy that we have previously warned it about escalating its aggression against our sanctities and people, but it went on in its wrongdoing without any deterrent. Hence, it is time that it has to pay the price,” the statement read, adding that “we’ve accumulated our power to protect our people anywhere and we won’t abandon them no matter the repercussions. Our weapon is the weapon of our people wherever they are.”

The statement further concluded its statement by warning “the coward enemy that the time of appropriating al-Quds and al-Aqsa has gone and will never return,” and assuring the Palestinian people in general and people of al-Quds in particular that “the resistance they have bet on won’t abandon them and will remain their shield and sword.”
