The ‘Israeli’ enemy launched after midnight an aggression on one of the areas in Syria’s Quneitra, state-run SANA news agency reported.

A helicopter for the ‘Israeli’ military carried out an attack with a missile after midnight on one of the areas in Jubata al-Khashab town in Quneitra countryside, the agency added.

The aggression did not result in any casualties, only causing some material damage, but it was the second round of airstrikes by the Zionist regime to target the Arab country in a little over 24 hours.

The aircraft carried out the attacks from the airspace over Syria’s ‘Israeli’-occupied Golan Heights in early Thursday, according to reports by Russia’s Sputnik news agency, citing a ranking security official.

Late on Tuesday, the Zionist regime had attacked some areas in the neighboring Latakia and Hama Provinces in eastern Syria.

Syria’s air defense systems had intercepted the incoming projectiles.

A civilian was, however, martyred and two more injured in the Latakia attack that had targeted a plastic factory.

The Zionist regime occupied the Golan Heights in 1967, and is hence in a state of technical war with Syria.

The regime has been staging numerous such attacks since 2011, when Syria began to be overwhelmed by foreign-backed militancy and terrorism.
