Lebanon Records 39 More COVID Deaths, 1,900 New Cases

Lebanon registered 39 new coronavirus deaths and 1,900 cases in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry said Sunday.

The total number of cases since the virus was first detected in the country in February last year rose to 510,403, according to figures released by the Health Ministry. The total number of fatalities now stands at 6,925.

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Health Ministry announced the arrival of a shipment of 47,970 Pfizer vaccines, bringing the total number of jabs Lebanon has received from the American manufacturer to 391,950.
