Iran, Qatar Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments

The foreign ministers of Iran and Qatar talked about a range of bilateral and regional issues in a telephone conversation.
Mohammad Javad Zarif and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed the latest issues in bilateral ties and regional developments in their telephone conversation on Tuesday.
Zarif elaborated on Tehran's views about the necessity for the participation of all regional countries in the establishment of comprehensive stability and security, without foreign interference and free from any tensions.
He also pointed to certain suspicious moves and mischievous acts by the US, and stressed that the responsibility for the consequences of any possible adventure will fall on Washington, the Iranian government’s official website reported.
Last week, the Qatari foreign minister said dialogue between Iran and Gulf littoral states would contribute to peace and stability in the region, stressing that for Qatar safety issues in the region are a “priority.”
