Hezbollah Condoles with Syria over FM Muallem’s Demise: A Loss of A Great Man Who Defended Unity, Stability

Hezbollah issued the following statement:

Hezbollah warmly condoles with Syrian President Bashar Assad, and the brotherly Syrian people over the death of Syria’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem. Hezbollah also offers the most honest sentiments to his honorable family. It also prays that Allah, the almighty, allows him to dwell in His spacious paradises and inspires his lovers with patience and solace.

Hezbollah further considers that Syria has lost a great man who defended its unity and stability, and served Arab and Muslim causes from his position in the Foreign Ministry over the years he was in office. He also strongly backed and supported the Palestinian cause and the resistance in South Lebanon. Al-Muallem, additionally, stood by the Lebanese people in the different crises they have passed through.
