Trump Mocks Biden For Listening to Scientists as Rally Crowd Chant ‘Lock Him Up’

US President Donald Trump mocked Democrat candidate Joe Biden for “listening to the scientists” as he campaigned in Carson City, Nevada, on Sunday.

The US president claimed that an election victory for his opponent in 15 days’ time would lead to further coronavirus lockdowns across the country.

Trump, who argued that his actions since March had avoided a “massive depression” despite millions of Americans losing their jobs and 220,000 dying of Covid-19, then alleged absurdly that Christmas would be cancelled under a Biden administration.

Bizarrely, Trump went on to blame water management policies for people having to “flush their toilet 15 times,” before his audience launched into the familiar war cry of “lock him up” against Biden, whom the president has baselessly accused of corruption.
