‘Israel’ Approves First West Bank Settler Units Since Gulf Deals
By Staff, Agencies
The Zionist entity has approved 2,166 new settler units across the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, AFP reported.
The approvals came less than a month after the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed agreements to normalize relations with the occupation regime, which in return claimed it will freeze its plans to annex swathes of the West Bank.
Under international law, settlements are considered illegal.
A controversial plan Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled in January gave US blessing to the Zionist entity’s annexation of large chunks of the West Bank, including the settlements.
Trump sees the Gulf accords as part of his broader initiative for his so-called ‘Deal of the Century.’
On Tuesday, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said a Trump victory will be disastrous for his people – and the world at large.
