A joint American-Zionist delegation is set to visit Bahrain on Sunday, according to Hebrew media reports.

The mission will be similar in stature to the one that visited the Gulf state in August. Zionist Foreign Ministry Director-General Alon Ushpiz and Prime Minister's Office Acting Director-General Ronen Peretz will lead the contingent.

Relatively, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and White House Assistant to the President and Special Representative for International Negotiations Avi Berkowitz will lead the US delegation.

According to ‘Israeli’ Walla News, Zionist officials said that the envoys would take off in a direct flight from the occupation entity’s Ben Gurion Airport to Bahrain’s capital Manama.

The purpose of the visit is to formulate the wording of the unashamed normalization process between Tel Aviv and Manama and initiate work teams that will advance further agreements on economic ties, investments, flights, agriculture, water and tourism, among other fields of shared interests.

The visit will last for a day, after which the expedition will return to the occupation entity to receive a delegation from the Emirates set to arrive next Tuesday, Walla News reported.
