The Zionist Police dispersed a crowd of ultra-Orthodox worshippers flouting the coronavirus restrictions in the settlement of Modiin Illit and made several arrests at anti-government protests in Tel Aviv overnight.

Zionist police intervened in Modiin Illit after several hundred ultra-Orthodox gathered at a synagogue in a breach of the anti-coronavirus restrictions.

Some of those on the scene were inside the synagogue, with indoors prayers banned under the government regulations.

The police scuffled with the worshippers and arrested 20 of them.

In Tel Aviv, the ‘Israeli’ occupation police arrested at least two demonstrators taking part in the protests against the government, including one for attacking a police officer.

The police also handed out dozens of fines for flouting the mandatory face masks rule and traveling more than one kilometer from the residence place -- a limit set under the recent regulations.

Anti-Netanyahu’s government demonstrations also popped up elsewhere around the occupation entity, with more protest action expected on Saturday.
