Lebanese PM-Designate Mustapha Adib Fails to Form Government
By Staff, Agencies
Lebanon's prime minister-designate Mustapha Adib stepped down after failing to form a cabinet.
Adib quit on Saturday after almost a month of efforts to line up a non-partisan cabinet.
He said that he has stepped down due to the disagreement of political parties with his conditions for forming a cabinet.
Mustapha Adib added that he wanted the formation of a cabinet not to be politicized, but this condition was not met in the process of forming a new government.
