Imam Khamenei Slams Western and Zionist Anti-Islam Policies, Urges Muslims to Remain Watchful

Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei issued a statement in which he condemned French Charlie Hebdo magazine’s cartoons insulting the prophet of Islam Mohammad [PBUH].

The statement read the following:

The major, unforgivable sin of a French magazine in insulting the brilliant and sacred face of the Great Prophet [Peace be upon him] unmasks yet another time the evil-encompassed hardheadedness and hatred hid by the political and cultural apparatuses in the Western world towards Islam and Muslim societies.

The pretext of freedom of expression claimed by French officials to avoid condemning this big crime is vehemently rejected, wrong and deceitful to the public opinion.

The anti-Islam policies by the Zionists and the arrogant governments stand behind such hostile measures, which are repeated every time.

The goal behind this step at this time may be to deviate the attention of the peoples and governments in West Asia from the dirty conspiracies being drawn by the US and the Zionist entity for this region.

Muslim peoples, especially in West Asian countries, mustn’t forget the Western politicians and leaders’ hostility to Islam and Muslims. They should also stay watchful for this region’s sensitive issues.
