Sky Diver1 Flies over South Lebanon, Carries Ya Hussein Flag, Sayyed Nasrallah’s Photo to the Stratosphere

A group of specialized Lebanese youths who work for the Sky Diver team successfully launched on Saturday, September 5, 2020 an airship from South Lebanon into the sky.

The balloon, named Sky Diver 1, is a prototype of a greater project through which its organizers made significant achievements. The balloon has fluently flown from South Lebanon’s soil, surfed the sky and reached the stratosphere zone at a height of 26 kilometers above the sea surface.

After reaching this altitude, the Sky Diver team returned it to the base from where it was launched. The balloon carried, over this area where it surfed, a photo of Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and an Ashura banner with the expression wrote on it reading ‘Ya Hussein’.

Launching this balloon is a scientific achievement on the level of Lebanon and the region for a group of Lebanese youths who used insignificant materialistic capabilities to manufacture it and equip it with the required scientific techniques that make it capable of offering several services in the scientific domain. The services include:

• Helping school and university students carry out aerial studies
• Providing accurate aerial images for the areas where it flies
• Used as an assistant to strengthen broadcast and frequency signals in bad weather
• Allows those who are interested in sky science to learn more about it
• Carries a special thermometer that measures atmospheric pressures, humidity and temperatures in the upper levels of atmosphere, and helps following the winds’ speed and direction

It is worth noting that Sky Diver1 was launched and returned peacefully on the same day.

The team that innovated Sky Diver1 has been working since a while to develop its first version through boosting its kinetic techniques to control its track remotely, in addition to increasing the possibility of using it in more specialized scientific domains.

The balloon sent a clear message that the people of resistance are not hindered by any circumstances or unjust siege. Such conditions will rather increase its power and ability to innovation and scientific prosperity in all fields.
