Salim Ayyash’s Family: End Injustice, Seek Justice, And Search for The Real Culprit Elsewhere

A statement issued by Ayyash family read the following:

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon decision to condemn Salim Ayyash is a great grievance for him and his family.

Salim Ayyash is the guy who spent his life serving his family and people as he volunteered in the civil defence in the most difficult circumstances and tribulations. The far and near vouch for his good and honorable life. In addition to his presence in Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj rituals during the crime [of assassinating Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri in 2005].

All of this refutes this accusation, bears witness to his grievance, and shows the weakness and invalidity of the conviction.

Why are Ayyash family members are paying their reputation and patriotism as a price of a convicted crime that their son Salim Ayyash has nothing to do with.
