‘Israeli’ forces on Monday shot and wounded a Palestinian man with a hearing impairment as he did not heed calls to halt in an occupation army West Bank checkpoint near Ramallah.

The man, 60, arrived at the Qalandia crossing solely meant for vehicles, in which pedestrians are not allowed to pass. The Zionist forces called him to stop, and when he did not, shot him toward the lower part of his body.

The man was hospitalized in light-to-moderate condition. Later it was found out he suffers from hearing and speech impairments.

The Zionist police confirmed in a statement that the man has a hearing impairment according to an initial probe into the incident.
