Islamic Health Society: Adhering to Our Humanitarian Role, We Were Present in the Stricken Area

The Islamic Health Society issued the following statement:

Adhering to its humanitarian and moral role in helping and providing people with first aid, it was natural for the Islamic Health Society to be present alongside other health and relief institutions in the stricken area, as it carried out its duty in providing relief and care for the affected citizens. And this is part of its national duty to serve its people.
 
In compliance with the Lebanese army’s decision to restrict relief operations in that area to the Red Cross organization, the Society decided to stop its operations there while remaining ready to provide all possible forms of care to our people in all Lebanese regions.
