Zarif Meets with Iraqi PM in Baghdad, Discusses Bilateral Ties, Regional Issues

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi discussed range of issues at a meeting in Baghdad on Sunday.
Zarif, who arrived in Baghdad on Sunday morning, held talks with the Iraqi prime minister, who took office in May.
In their talks, held in a private and a plenary meeting, Zarif and Kadhimi discussed the latest developments in Tehran-Baghdad bilateral ties, the Iraqi premier’s upcoming visit to Iran, and major regional and international issues.
The Iranian minister visited Baghdad to make arrangements for Kadhimi’s Tuesday trip to Tehran.
