Boris Johnson Reveals He Was Given ’Liters of Oxygen’ To Stay Alive While Battling Covid-19

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed that "contingency plans" were made while he was in the hospital battling the deathly coronavirus.

In an interview with The Sun on Sunday, Johnson said that he was given "liters and liters of oxygen" to keep him alive at London's St Thomas' Hospital.

"I was not in particularly brilliant shape and I was aware there were contingency plans in place,” he added.

"It was a tough old moment, I won’t deny it. They had a strategy to deal with a ‘death of Stalin’-type scenario."

Johnson had been diagnosed with coronavirus on March 26 and was admitted to the hospital 10 days later. He was moved to intensive care the following day.
