Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former ‘Israeli’ military chief-of-staff Benny Gantz signed a coalition deal to form an "emergency government," the Likud and Blue and White parties confirmed in a joint statement on Monday.

After 484 days of an interim government, three consecutive elections and a global pandemic crisis which began almost three months ago, the Zionist entity could announce the formation of an elected coalition, spearheaded by Netanyahu and Gantz, later tonight.

Shortly after the statement, Gantz wrote on Twitter that “We prevented a fourth election. We will guard democracy. We will fight the corona and take care of all ‘Israelis.’”

Meanwhile, the occupation regime’s longest-serving prime minister said “I promised ‘Israel’ an emergency government that will act to save the lives and livelihood of ‘Israelis.’”

Relatively, a source within Blue and White released a statement stipulating the achievements of the deal: Gantz will step in as prime minister in October 2021; a coronavirus cabinet headed by Netanyahu and Gantz will be formed; Blue and White will possess the judicial, communications and culture ministries; and Gantz will have veto power for every government decision.

A significant point in the agreement relates to a scenario having either side disperse the ‘Israeli’ Knesset [parliament]. In such a case, Gantz would take the prime minister role for six months before new elections would commence, with the former military chief as the interim premier.
