Hezbollah Deputy SG: Lebanese Gov’t Succeeded in Many Fields, Reform Plan Must be Implemented

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem noted on Tuesday that "The Lebanese government was born in difficult and complicated circumstances.”

However, he hailed the fact that “it gained confidence to save the country as it succeeded in facing the novel Coronavirus with progressive and wise steps.”

In his statement, Sheikh Qassem highlighted that “The Lebanese government is working to facilitate the return of expatriates who want to return to their homeland under the conditions of all safety requirements.”

“It is also preparing to provide social assistance plan to alleviate the crisis of people, suffering from both the economic situation and the Coronavirus,” he added.

The top Hezbollah official also considered that "the time has come to endorse the integrated reform plan.”

“More time will offer nothing and the announcement of the reform plan is a title of strength for the government, and a roadmap towards rescue,” Sheikh Qassem concluded.
