Yemen’s Ansarullah Seize Strategic City Bordering Saudi Arabia
By Staff, Agencies
Yemeni Ansarullah revolutionary movement has taken control of the city of al-Hazm, the capital of al-Jawf governorate along the border with Saudi Arabia.
According to military sources cited by Anadolu news agency, the Ansarullah entered the city and seized it following battles that led Saudi-led mercenaries to retreat after losing ground in the region.
Relatively, Ansarullah media reported that the entire region is now in the group’s control.
This field achievement came after fierce fighting with Saudi-led mercenaries who were forced to withdraw to neighboring Ma’rib province.
At least 30 Saudi-led forces, including high-ranking pro-Hadi officers, were killed in the fighting over the past two days.
