Syrian Army Restores Strategic Town in Idlib SE Countryside

Syrian Army Units cleared up the strategic town of Jirjanaz in Idleb south-eastern countryside after fierce battles against terrorist groups positioned in the town to the east of Hama-Ma’arat al-Numan highway.

According to SANA news agency, the army advanced from the east and carried on fierce battles against terrorist groups positioned in the town to the east of Hama-Ma’arat al-Numan highway and entered the town from many axes.

The agency added that the battles ended up as the Syrian army established control on the town after destroying dens and centers of terrorists and inflicting them heavy losses.

Earlier, a number of new villages in Idlib southeastern countryside was cleared up also.
