Iraqi Popular Mobilization Blow up Daesh Tunnels Southern Mosul

The military engineering unit of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units [Hashd Shaabi] blew up on Monday tunnels belonging to Daesh [the Arabic acronym for terrorist ‘ISIS/ISIL’ group] where the terrorists hide in Wadi al-Tharthar southern Mosul.

According to the PMU’s official website, the achievement came in the course of the ongoing operations in al-Hadhar, south of Mosul.

The joint force composed of the PMU and the Iraqi Army kicked out a security operation on Monday, starting from south of al-Hadhar, passing through Wadi al-Tharthar to reach Jisr Um al-Aqarib southern Mosul.
