Hezbollah Slams Jiyeh Crime: Bandits Humiliating, Terrorizing Citizens

Hezbollah issued the following statement:

Hezbollah strongly condemns the horrific crime that took place on the Jiyeh highway this morning, which resulted in the death of Hussein Shalhoub and Sanaa al-Jundi, who were burned inside the car they were traveling in.

The crime was the result of militia attacks by groups of bandits which are practicing the most heinous methods of humiliation and terror against citizens.

This sinful aggression against the two dear martyrs forms an attack on all Lebanese as well as a threat to civil peace and social stability.

Hezbollah expresses warm condolences to the parents of the martyrs, the daughter of Martyr Hussein Shalhoub, and all our people in the south. We also pray for them to rank in high levels in heaven and for their loved ones to have patience and consolation.
