«Israel» Claims Intercepted Four Projectiles Allegedly Launched from Syria
By Staff, Agencies
The “Israeli” Occupation Forces [IOF] claimed that its Iron Dome system had intercepted four projectiles allegedly launched from Syria. Damascus has yet to comment on these claims.
Earlier in the day, the IOF warned that air-raid sirens were heard over the northern part of the “Israeli” entity.
Meanwhile, Syrian media outlets reported that multiple explosions had been heard near the international airport in Damascus.
However, no further details were available.
Tel Aviv occupied the Golan Heights in 1981, although the annexation has never been recognized by the United Nations. The Golan Heights is widely seen as an exceptionally important strategic area, as it offers a clear view of both Syria and the Occupied Palestine.
