An ‘Israeli’ spy drone was shot down on Wednesday morning while flying over southern Lebanon and spying on Lebanese residential houses in the border village of Kfarkila.

Lebanon’s official National News Agency [NNA] reported on Wednesday that a citizen had shot down the ‘Israeli’ spy drone over Fatima Gate in Kfarkila using his hunting rifle.

Relatively, the ‘Israeli’ occupation army also confirmed that it had lost a small spy drone on the Lebanese side of the border.

According to an ‘Israeli’ occupation army spokesperson, a military drone aircraft was downed near the border, on the Lebanese side during what they claimed to be a ‘routine security operation.’

In August 25, two ‘Israeli’ occupation spy drones — which Hezbollah said were on a bombing mission — crashed in the Hezbollah stronghold in the south of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

One of the drones blew up near the ground, causing some damage to Hezbollah’s media office in the Moawwad neighborhood of Beirut’s Dahieh suburb.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the drones were on a “suicide mission,” and vowed ever since to down ‘Israeli’ spy drones violating Lebanese airspace.
