IRGC Ground Forces Capable of Becoming the World’s Strongest Force – Top Commander

Top Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps [IRGC] Major General Hossein Salami said that the IRGC ground forces are capable and have the required might to be the world’s strongest force.

During a tour in the Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran, Major General Salami inspected the defensive and security readiness of the IRGC unit deployed to the mutual border between Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Salami hailed the efforts exerted by the IRGC leaders and personnel, expressing comfortability to the results they achieved in restoring security to the province, neutralizing threats and dispelling the enemies’ dreams.

He further stated that the IRGC Ground Force, representing the armed forces and defenders of the Islamic world in the region, is facing an entire group of the enemies of the revolution who are working against the Iranian people on all strategic, tactical and practical levels. “Sistan and Baluchestan has become a hotbed for the regional, foreign and local enemies and a station for the war of wills that aims at threatening the Iranian people’s security and stability,” Salami added.

The Guard’s first-in-command also noted that security doesn’t come by itself, but it disappears this way. “We have to exert new efforts every day. The enemy is changing its means of animosity against the Iranian people every day.”

Salami further urged staying vigilant and forerun the enemy on the level of intelligence and controlling the events.
