Iranian Fleet of Military Copters Strongest in Region - Army Commander

A ranking Iranian Army commander said the country is in possession of the most powerful fleet of military helicopters in West Asia.

Addressing the Friday prayers gathering in Tehran, Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force’s Airborne Division General Yousef Qorbani said Iran has the strongest fleet of helicopters in the Middle East.

The Iranian Army Ground Force’s Airborne Division is equipped with various arms and provides professional military training, Qorbani added.

He also highlighted the Airborne Division’s activities for protecting the Iranian border, noting that the Army Ground Force has adopted a strategy of offense in a way that the enemy would not dare to carry any act of aggression.
