US Blocks UN Proposal to Condemn Demolishing Palestinian Houses - Report

The United States on Wednesday blocked a proposal by multiple countries including South Africa, Kuwait, and Indonesia, at the United Nations Security Council condemning the mass demolition of Palestinian homes outside occupied al-Quds carried out by the Zionist entity, Reuters reported.

UN officials raised concerns over the Monday demolition of ten apartment buildings that would displace dozens of Palestinian families.

The Zionist entity claims that the homes to be illegally constructed, but the move drew international condemnation and protests as Palestinians vowed to take the matter to the International Criminal Court.
