Yemeni Military Industry: New Weapons Revealed at Martyr Al-Sammad Exhibition

Commander of the Yemeni Armed Forces President Mahdi Al-Mashat inaugurated on Sunday the Exhibition of martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad for the Yemeni military industries, which includes models of ballistic, winged missiles and new drones.

Al-Sammad Exhibition featured the new cruise missile, Quds 1, Sammad 3 drone, Sammad 1 surveillance drone and Qasef 2K drone.

The attendees roamed the pavilions of the exhibition and saw the contents of the models of the ballistic missiles including Burkan 2, medium range missiles, Qaher and the third generations of the short range missile, Badar.

The inauguration ceremony included an explanation of the tactical and combat characteristics of the new drones and Quds 1 missile and the stages of its manufacturing, which will enhance the Yemeni military capabilities and change the courses of the battle with aggression as effective and important deterrence weapons.

Relatively, al-Mashat stated that the next phase will be full of surprises and new weapons, making a difference in the forces balance. He praised the qualitative accomplishments and successes achieved by the Yemeni Armed Forces in various aspects, including the military manufacturing, which has achieved tangible successes, noting that the achievements of the Rocketry Force and Air Force is a boast to all Yemenis.

For his part, the Spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yehya Saree noted that all details, characteristics and features of the new weapons and their testing will be announced at a press conference later.
