Amid fear from Gaza’s Palestinian resistance, members of the ‘Israeli’ Knesset will briefly take up their seats for a special recess session called to debate funding for affected illegal ‘Israeli’ border settlements.

The session, which will discuss fortifying illegal ‘Israeli’ settlements located near the Gaza border, will take place after it was requested by more than 25 MKs, primarily from the opposition Blue and White party.

The meeting will discuss the necessary measures for the treatment of settlers of the occupied area in view of the recent resistance operations, according to the ‘Israeli’ Blue and White party ahead of the session.

The party said it had invited settlers of border settlements to attend the debate to discuss the Zionist government’s disregard for and lack of attention to them.

Earlier on Sunday, Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected criticism of the government for its recent Gaza policies.
