‘Israeli’ Elections: Gantz Says No Turning Back Now
By Staff, Agencies
Zionist Blue and White leader Benny Gantz said Wednesday there is no way to cancel the ‘Israeli’ election after the Knesset dissolution amid reports that the enemy’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is weighing the option.
Gantz accused Netanyahu of misleading the public by calling to cancel the elections.
“Netanyahu has lost it…" Gantz told a Blue and White press conference on Wednesday afternoon.
"Netanyahu pressed the button to dissolve the Knesset and there is no way back. What we’ve seen in the past few days is Netanyahu’s House of Cards-esque spin.”
The Blue & White leader also said had Zionist President Reuven Rivlin allowed him to try and form a government he would have succeeded.
"There will be elections on September 17. Netanyahu forced it on us. But we are ready. And we will win," Gantz said.
