Horrific stories that amounts to terror against children are reported from the US camps of migrants.

According to US media, US President Donald Trump’s administration is under fire for keeping unaccompanied migrant children in poor detention conditions.

Several people were allowed to visit the sites in the last week and interview children kept there - reporting harrowing stories of unsanitary conditions, which some likened to torture.

Children separated from their families are left for days in soiled clothing, with babies reportedly fed out of unwashed milk bottles, and left in the care of other children.

This comes as Donald Trump's harsh strategy on immigration seem to be drawing the results he expects, even though the consequences remain unclear.

A rumored immigration crackdown on families forced Democrats into a dialogue with Republicans over funding at the end of last week.

"At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process [Deportation] for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border," he tweeted Saturday.

A surprise move to impose tariffs on Mexico also forced the US's southern neighbor to take responsibility for slowing down migration, by sending troops to both southern and northern borders.

Outrage has spread on the left of US politics about the detention facilities, which freshman congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called "concentration camps," attracting condemnation from the other side of the aisle.
