Mortar Shells Target US Air Base in Iraq

Iraqi Security Media Cell announced on Saturday, that mortar shells have fallen on an air base in Salahaddin province, north of the capital Baghdad.

The three mortar shells, fell on Balad air base which is 64 kilometers north of Baghdad, Alsumaria News reported.

It confirmed that fire was put off without any human casualties.

It is worth noting that in this base, of US forces and advisers to the International Alliance were presented, and it is an important strategic base.
