French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian slammed US President Donald Trump's Middle East plan, dubbed ‘Deal of the Century,’ saying it’s “an approach that cannot grant serenity,” Toronto City News reported on Saturday.

Speaking during a visit to Morocco, Le Drian voiced the EU and France’s objection to recognizing the occupied holy city of al-Quds as the ‘capital’ of the ‘Israeli’ entity.

Trump moved the US embassy to al-Quds in 2017, signaling full US recognition of al-Quds as the ‘capital’ of the Zionist entity.

Relatively, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita said his country doesn’t know any of the details concerning the ‘Deal of the Century’, Chinese news site Zinhanet reported.
